Conversion optimization

Conversion is turning your site visitors into site buyers. A much touted statistic is from a shop.org study in 2000 where they said on average 1.8% of all visitors to a shop made a purchase.

A more recent study from 2004 showed more detailed results.

Either way, the numbers aren't great. Fortunately, there's a bunch of things you can do to improve this.
